MEET OUR TEAM

Alysha Trenholm

Owner Of Whole Mama Collective

Hi! I’m Alysha

Registered Massage Therapist; Certified Childbirth Educator; Postpartum Doula

I created this business amidst the years of becoming a new Mama myself and I quickly realized the lack of support that existed in our small community for growing families!

I’ve made it my passion project for the last few years to make finding evidence-based birth and feeding education, birth doula and postpartum doula services easily accessible for families!

As a Mom of two, I now know how much I valued the support I had during postpartum and know how incredible it is to have help with feeding, physical recovery, homemade meals, a tidy house, and so much more in those early sleep deprived days.

I love connecting with families in the Childbirth and Feeding Education courses we offer and I’m always honored to support and guide new families in my role as a Postpartum Doula

Catherine Gillingham

Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula and Perinatal Educator!

Hello! I'm Catherine!

When I was 9 weeks pregnant as a first time mom, I found out I was expecting twins. Cue the panic! ...and the googling!
I quickly learned that there was a lack of information, support, and guidance for those expecting multiples in our community. I knew I needed to become a resource to help bridge this gap.

I am a birth doula, postpartum doula, and childbirth educator.

I am passionate about supporting families expecting multiples, those undergoing fertility treatments, and those on a surrogacy journey. I acknowledge that everyone's journey to parenthood has unique challenges, and support from a doula can look different to each person. I strive to ensure your family is educated, supported, and confident during this transitional time in life.

I can't wait to meet you!

Cristin Donovan

Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula; Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Hi, I’m Cristin!

As a passionate advocate for empowered birthing experiences I'm a Birth and Postpartum Doula dedicated to supporting families through the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My approach is holistic, considering families physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

I'm a mama myself to a very active 5 year old boy who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. So I understand the challenges of parenthood and navigating a world of unknowns and how important it is to have support during these life changing times. We all deserve this!

When I'm not supporting families, I am spending as much time as possible connecting with nature and with my son. Whether that's hikes in the woods, scooter rides, dog walks, camping, picnics; we love the outdoors!

I'm also a plant-based Holistic Nutritionist so I'm passionate about nutrition and cooking.

It would be an honor to join you on this incredible journey of childbirth and parenthood, providing you with the unwavering support and guidance you deserve.

Taylor Morehouse

Birth Doula; Registered Holistic Nutritionist; Yoga Instructor & Teacher

Hi, I’m Taylor!

I am a yoga instructor, a teacher, a doula and a holistic nutritionist dedicated to compassionate community care!

As soon as I heard the term doula explained to me I knew I wanted that to be my job title! I started studying to be a doula while I was living in Toronto, simultaneously studying to be a certified holistic nutritionist. These two modalities are really wonderful companions, they complement each other nicely. Years later I added yoga instructor to my list of credentials and found it to be the perfect third branch of my holistic care practice.

I have also taught at every level (elementary, middle and high school) within the NB school system and continue to offer Academic Support programs locally.

When I am not in the studio (Kuuma), doing nutrition consultations, tutoring or in the delivery ward helping to support a doula client, you can find me van camping across the country and/or exploring the great outdoors with my wonderful husband. I would love to hear from you if you feel I may be of service on your path to parenthood!

Cindy Dawe

Postpartum Doula

Hi, I’m Cindy.

I am a Postpartum Doula and mother of 3 little ones. I have a background in travel and hospitality as well as various aspects of childcare and I also hold a diploma in Child and Youth Care.

I have spent a large part of my adult life traveling the world and to date have visited 25 countries. I have traveled extensively throughout East Africa, Asia and the Middle East where I resided for nearly 2 years. I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures and am especially interested in how childcare and parenting looks in different areas of the world.

Caring for infants has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. Having 3 babies in 4 years has kept me busy and has meant that I am constantly learning new techniques to adapt to my individual babies!

The newborn stage has always been my absolute favorite! Understanding the importance of rest and support I encourage clients to book with me for evenings and overnights. The times when our cups are less than full and the struggle to balance newborn life, household tasks and proper sleep become all too much. I look forward to getting to know you and your family and helping you to find balance on your parenthood journey!
